Australian distributors for CZ firearms, Winchester Australia, recently announced a swag of new models that are welcomed additions to the CZ457 rimfire series. At the time of writing stocks were anticipated to arrive around August and models include the following. The CZ 457 Synthetic 22LR combining the same metal parts of the 457 American with a new synthetic stock, 20” barrel and 5-round magazine. Also available is theCZ457 Varmint Long Range Precision 22LR and the CZ 457 Varmint Thumbhole 22LR made of high strength laminated wood and featuring a modern thumbhole with distinctive built-in trigger guard.
Next, is the CZ 457 Pro Varmint 22LR with Boyd Pro Varmint stock in Pepper Laminate.This Varmint model features a 20.5” long, heavy barrel that’s also threaded with cap. Other models include the CZ457 At-One Varmint 22LR with fully adjustable cheekpiece and butt plate and the CZ457 MDT Varmint 22LR which is basically a tactical stock with pistol grip and heavy barrel.
