I’ve owned and used a Spartan Javelin Pro Hunt bipod on all my firearms for several years now. The thing I like about them is the fact they can be quickly removed and fitted to a second or third firearm by simply adding a magnetic base to each gun.
Hence, one bipod for all my guns. I usually carry it in my pocket or pack until required.
The one thing that did bother me was the fact it didn’t come with a pouch to attach to my belt or bino harness, but now Spartan has solved that problem, offering two options to take care of my problem.
The first is the FHF Aspis Javelin bipod holster (pictured) that features a quick-release buckle and is made to fit my Spartan bipod like a glove.
The second is a much smaller pouch called the Red Kettle Lite Javelin holster. This model has an elastic cord that simply pulls over the top of the bipod to prevent loss while trekking around in the bush.
Both are extremely secure and made of a strong web material.
I found I could attach either to my bino harness or belt for quick access when needed, rather than having to rummage through my pack.
Spartan offers a large range of accessories to complement its bipods, even replacement legs that simply screw in and out, giving you the option of different overall lengths.
