Dingo Gun Products leather gear

Dingo Gun Products is based in Victoria and offers an Australian-made range of quality leather goods for hunters and shooters. Its range includes slings, ammo belts, shotshell pouches and lots more.

I was first introduced to this range at a hunting show in Victoria which gave me the opportunity to evaluate the gear first hand. A lot of Dingo gear is made using Italian and Indian leather and components.

Most items I saw were constructed of quality buffalo leather that’s expertly tanned and thinned out for pliability and softness.

Dingo’s slings are available in a variety of styles, from a standard type through to a soft leather buffalo sling with suede or sheepskin lining for extra comfort and style.

They’re fully adjustable, with ends fastened using strong Chicago screws, and they’ll fit 1” swivels for attachment to a firearm.

There’s even a rimfire sling with 25 sewn-in bullet loops for quick access.

Available in black, brown or rusty colour, all are well made and well priced.

In addition, Dingo Gun Products makes leather belts to suit rimfire, centrefire and shotshell ammunition, not to mention fold-out ammo pouches, ammunition slides, wallets and cheek pieces.

Another item that caught my eye was the dress belt with 12-gauge concho on the keeper and a removable buckle.

To complement the belts, Dingo offers both horizontal and vertical knife pouches in a variety of sizes.

Ask to see them at your local gun shop or visit the Dingo Gun Products website.
