Techo website Gizmodo has answered the burning question of how would your iPhone 5 hold up if it was shot with a .50 calibre rifle?
After dropping it on dirt, concrete and in water, an iPhone 5 is then shot, twice – the first time face on, in which the bullet passes straight through, then on its side at an angle, which has more satisfying results.
The best thing is it’s videoed with slow mo cameras in what Gizmo says is a comparison between them all. They go from the phone’s camera through to a specialty camera capable of shooting at 60,000 frames per second.
Naturally it’s at 60,000fps that we see just what happens when the bullets hit the phone.
The video is five minutes long, but we just love this kinda stuff.
