On Saturday the 4th February KAP Parlimentary Leader, Bob Katter made his Firearm Policy announcement to the media at the Brisbane S.S.A.A. clubhouse backed by S.S.A.A. Queensland President Geoff Jones and Firearms Dealer Association President Robert Nioa.
After speeches were given, everyone retired to the shotgun range for the media vs. Bob Katter shoot. A couple of wary media employees took up the challenge. The closest contender lost by one shot to Bob, but he decided to donate his personally signed hat anyway in appreciation for taking up the challenge.
Katter’s Australian Party will no doubt benefit not ony shooters and hunters, but 4WD enthusiasts, fishermen, rock climbers, campers and a host of other outdoor enthusiasts.
