Lake Dartmouth sambar hunt
Here’s a nice story from a bunch of young blokes carrying on the time-honoured deer hunting tradition in Victoria on the shores of Lake Dartmouth.
You see the approach and departure into thinck forest by the hunter and then him crouching over his kill, achieved with the mild 7mm-08 cartridge. He obviously took his time over a rest and calmly took the well-aimed shot and the bullet did the rest.
Later this week, I will post up his first stag hunt. It’s well worth the wait. Well done that man.
