The NSW Greens have released their revised firearms policy ahead of the NSW state election on March 28. According to Robert Borsak from the Shooters and Fishers Party it’s worse than you can imagine.
You can read the full policy HERE, and you definitely should – especially if you live in New South Wales. Here is a summary of what this policy would mean for more than 250,000 law abiding NSW shooters:
- Unannounced safe storage inspections by police or approved Government agency
- The cancellation of ALL minor permits
- Storage of firearms at clubs for licence holders in urban areas
- A complete ban on semi-automatic firearms
- A new registry for all ammunition purchases
- Licence cancellation for people who do not meet certain levels of physical fitness
With a State election in just over one month, NSW Shooters must act now to ensure the future of their sport.
What can you do TODAY to make sure these extremists never have the chance?
Sign up to volunteer for the Shooters and Fishers Party on Election Day. It is known that having volunteers at polling booths can double, even triple, the vote. Can you spare four hours to spread the word?
Make a donation to keep the Shooters and Fishers Party campaign on TV and radio right through the campaign.
Don’t forget, in 2013 Greens MP Sarah Hanson-Young received the largest personal donation ever recorded in Australia – $300,000!
This firearms policy of teh Greens should send a shiver down the spine of every law abiding firearm owner in NSW. It has never been more important to protect your sport, and a great way to do that is elect a third Shooters and Fishers Party member on March 28. With your support we’ll make sure these outrageous policies NEVER see the light of day.
But the Shooters and Fishers Party NEED your support – now more than ever.
