In a move that recognises the decreased relevance of the major political parties to their rural constituents, the Shooters and Fishers Party (SFP) has applied to the NSW Electoral Commission to be renamed the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party.
This action recognises that the SFP has found increased levels of support from rural communities due to SFP’s willingness to promote their broader interests and concerns in parliament in addition to those of legitimate gun owners.
SFP NSW MLC Robert Borsak has promulgated this SFP Renaming Press Release to explain the move.
With representation in the upper houses of three states and growing momentum in most others in the Federation, this augurs well for looking after our rural people who feed and clothe us all.
