What our allies think of our gun “culture”

In an interesting parochial piece in the pro-gun USACarry website, we see that, although the yanks believe they’re gun freedoms are under threat, they are shocked by the indignities that we suffer “downunder”.

One fact (in amongst some poorly-informed waffle) that really made them pity us was that we licensed Australian gun owners have to undergo the indignity and invasion of privacy that comes with compulsory safe storage inspections by our police.

As a LAFO, when I read those comments, it really makes me angry and disappointed that we have no culture of respect for our own citizens by our legislators and law enforcers.
