Q; After reading your reply to a reader about the K-Hornet and loads using Lil Gun powder, I recently acquired a Brno Fox and would like loads for the 30gn Sierra TNT, 35gn Hornady V-Max, 40gn Speer spire point,and 45gn Speer soft-point. I have two cans of Lil Gun which seems to be the powder for the Hornet. Who could rechamber my Brno Fox for the K-Hornet and supply dies within a few hundred kilometres.

A; With two cans of Lil Gun you have the right propellant for the K-Hornet. Loads for Lil Gun in the K-Hornet as follows: 30gn Sierra TNT and 15gn ; 35gn V-Max and 14.5gn; Speer 40gn SP 14gn; 45gn Super SP 13.5gn; and 50gn
V-Max and 13gn.If your gun has a 600mm barrel I’d expect muzzle velocities to be around 3420 fps, 3400, 3350, 3050 and 2930 respectively. But that’s just an educated guess. Your local gunshop should be able to get you a die set for the K-Hornet, but if they can’t, I can probably find a set for you. You can get a Licensed dealer in your town to mail the barreled action to Rob Spittles and he can either return it to the same dealer by mail, or you can pick it up from him.
