CZ 600 American

The latest addition to CZ’s 600 series rifle range, the American is a modern, American-style, bolt-action centrefire rifle with a beautifully crafted Turkish walnut stock and fleur-de-lis chequering.

Available in a wide range of calibres, it is ready to meet the needs of an equally wide range of hunting and shooting situations.

The CZ 600 American is equipped with a thin profile, cold hammer-forged barrel which comes in lengths of 46 to 61cm (18-24”), depending on the calibre you choose.

The trigger is fully adjustable and offers smooth, single-stage operation. The locking five-round magazine allows for quick change over from fixed to removable operation and vice-versa.

Like most centrefire rifles in the 600 series, the American features a patented vertical safety with intuitive and virtually noiseless operation. The bolt can be removed by pressing a spring-loaded button on the right side of the receiver without having to disengage the safety nor manipulate the trigger.

The semi-controlled feed system with short extractor ensures reliable delivery of cartridges in any position, even during rapid reloading.

Other features include 60-degree bolt handle lift, steel receiver with Remington 700-type mounting interface and guaranteed sub-MOA accuracy.

The 600 family includes the Ergo, Lux, Range and Trail models. Available in .223, .30-06, .308 and .300 Win Mag, the American has a recommended retail price of $1995.
