The Ruger American Rifle Generation II Scout is built as a compact, versatile bolt-action rifle for fast handling and practical field performance.
Featuring a short 16-inch (41cm) barrel and lightweight construction, the Scout is built to be manoeuvrable in dense bush, vehicles, or tight terrain.
Adjustable iron sights come standard, the rear being an aperture sight that can be flipped for either close or long-range shots. An extended Picatinny rail allows the use of long-eye-relief scout scopes, traditional optics or modern night-vision and thermal devices.Â
A durable Cerakote-finished action pairs with a textured splatter-finished stock, enhancing grip and control in adverse conditions.
The threaded muzzle is fitted with an A2-style flash hider and allows shooters to easily add compatible muzzle devices.
With improved ergonomics, a rigid stock design and Ruger’s proven bolt-action reliability, the Generation II Scout is an adaptable rifle suited to hunting, field use and general-purpose shooting applications.
