Rigby is giving Australian hunters another chance to win a Highland Stalker rifle valued at more than $20,000, and entering the competition is as simple as filling in a form online!
The new give-away is a local initiative in additional to the international competition already announced by Rigby from its UK home.
Rigby’s local agency is running the give-away in an effort to circumvent onerous restrictions on communication put in place by social media platforms, which are becoming increasingly anti-gun.
Social media algorithms are limiting the reach of firearms-related organisations and making it harder for hunters and shooters to keep up to date with their own interests, often cancelling subscriptions and follows as well as deleting posts.
Rigby’s answer is to increase its direct marketing ability by asking people to sign up to its newsletter, offering the chance to win a Highland Stalker as incentive.
The Highland Stalker is Rigby’s traditional deerstalking rifle, offered in men’s and women’s configuration in smaller calibres — standard calibres from .275 Rigby to 9.3×62, and two magnums, .300 Win Mag and 7mm Rem Mag. The prize rifle is a .30-06.
The Highland Stalker is built on a Mauser 98 action and finished to an extremely high level.Â
Its English sporter stock is made from a minimum of Grade 5 walnut.
Enter the give-away here before it closes on 31 October 2024.
And while you’re at it, sign up to the Sporting Shooter newsletter, too, on our home page. We send it out once a week and it’s a much more reliable way to get our news and reviews than relying on social media to alert you.
