Steve Larsson from the Shooters and Fishers Party has pointed out that “it’s little wonder that law abiding firearms owners are wary of Police” after a NSW police officer pointed his Glock service pistol at another police officer‚Äôs head and pulled the trigger, a NSW District Court.
According to this artice in the Newcastle Herald, a NSW District Court has been told a senior officer “racked and pointed his Glock service pistol at the constable’s head and pulled the trigger at Broadmeadow Police Station, thereby purporting to audibly discharge that weapon”, Judge Leonard Levy, SC, said in a ruling last Wednesday.
The constable with the gun at his head did not know the weapon was unloaded, left on stress leave from that day, and is now seeking damages in a negligence case against the State of NSW.
