On his weekly Service Rifle shoot at ANZAC Rifle Range, Malabar, Marcus O’Dean, Editor of Sporting Shooter, takes his first two sighting shots from a .303 No 1 Mk III* 1943 Lithgow at 100 metres from the offhand position using ba two point sling. First sighter is an inner 4, second sighter, after adjustment is a central bullseye, or V-bull, close to the dead-centre of the target, which measures four feet square.
Stay tuned for the snap and rapid shoot videos coming up in future weeks where awesome left-hander Mark Lewis shows how it’s done. Thanks for the video footage by Noel Lewis.
