It seems there are enforceable laws forsome people (like shooters) and unenforceable laws for, others like”duck rescuers” who wilfully disobey police direction onwaterways during proclaimed duck seasons. Read this recent entry fromthe Duck Army’s facebook page, which has its acolytes fawning allover a greenie judge’s decision to let convicted protestors off withabsolutely no consequence for their illegal actions. We really are upagainst it when the judiciary exercises such blatant personal bias.

Great news from MelbourneMagistrates court for CADS rescuers!
Coalition Against Duck Shooting
MAGISTRATES’ COURT DECISION: Fiverescuers issued with infringement notices for being on the waterbefore 10am on the 2011 Opening weekend at Lake Buloke, decided notto pay their fines, and instead pleaded guilty in the MelbourneMagistrates’ Court today. The charges were proven, but dismissed, without conviction, fines or costs. Another rescuer, a veteran ofmany battles over the years, had his case dealt with at the sametime. He was fined $250 without conviction and will undertakecommunity service instead of paying the fine. This was a good outcomefor rescuers and a blow for the prosecution (Department of PrimaryIndustries). Editor”
