Following a number of drive-by shootings, the N.S.W. Government is promising to crack down on gun and gang crime. As such, the Government is planning to tighten gun laws yet again to combat crime. Under these proposed firearm laws, gun shop dealers would be required to record the sale of all ammunition and licensed gun owners would only be allowed to purchase ammunition in calibers for registered firearms they have.
This ludicrous proposal that would be impossible to police no doubt shows how far out of touch these supposed law makers are with our sport. Thank God we have sensible law abiding shooters such as Robert Borsak and Robert Brown fighting for our rights and adding sensible alternatives through the Shooters & Fishers Party in the N.S.W. Upper House.
