The NSW Department of Primary Industries has released photos of illegal hunters and is calling for assistance from the public in identifying them.

NSW DPI calls for help in identifying illegal hunters

In something of an unusual move – although they have used it successfully before – the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries has published photos of vehicles used in illegal hunting activities in the central west of that state. They are calling on the public to help identify those involved.

According to an article in the Central Western Daily, the Game Licensing Unit has had around 10 hidden cameras in the Mullion and Canobolas State Forests, which have captured photos of around 20 suspicious vehicles. You can read the full article, and view the photos, HERE.

Sporting Shooter encourages anyone with infomation about the identity of these people to contact the authorities on the phone numbers provided. Illegal hunters who think the law only applies to others are selfish individuals who only ruin the image of law-abiding hunters and make it so much more difficult for the rest of us to maintain good relationships with government and landowners alike. They deserve to be put in, so any help will be appreciated.
