The NSW Shooters Fishers and Farmers Party is looking for a new state director, a paid position suitable for someone who is passionate about hunting and fishing, and who wants to make a difference in the political arena.
“This pivotal role is essential in advancing the party’s mission and ensuring its core values are upheld in both state and national arenas,” SFF interim state director Brian Boyle said, adding that the role is “to lead and inspire the party’s operations and strategic direction across New South Wales”.
“What the party is looking for is a dedicated shooter or hunter with a profound commitment to Australia’s rich culture of hunting, shooting, fishing and farming,” he said.
The state director works with the party’s executive and Members of Parliament, and manages day-to-day operation of both the NSW and federal bodies.
The SFF wants some with proven leadership and strategic planning expertise, and a willingness to travel across NSW and beyond.
Key responsibilities include providing strong leadership, strategic planning, community engagement, and advocacy to further the interests of the party and its members, especially those involved in hunting, shooting and fishing.
The candidate must be based in Sydney with the flexibility to travel across the state and interstate as needed.
If you are passionate about the Party’s mission and meet the necessary qualifications, you are encouraged to apply.
“It’s an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of the Shooters Fishers and Farmers Party and its commitment to fight for, preserve and promote Australia’s unique outdoor heritage,” Mr Boyle said.
For further information and to submit applications, go to the Shooters Fishers and Farmers Party website. Applications close on Friday, 4 October 2024.
