Shooters and Fishers Party MLC Robert Brown says all bets are off with the NSW Liberal Government after Barry O’Farrell’s betrayal in scrapping the Game Council and state forest hunting.
In this interview that appeared on ABC television’s 7.30 Report, Brown says that the S&FP’s handshake agreement to support the government of the day is over. The S&FP had given a crucial vote to allow for privatisation of electricity supply in NSW in return for the establishment of the Game Council and to allow for hunting of feral pests in state forests.
The recent decision to abolish the Game Council and put a halt on state forest hunting following the Dunn Report has left Brown bewildered and in this interview he warns that what goes around, comes around.
