Rossi R95

Rossi’s all-new and affordable R95 .30-30 lever-action

Rossi has at last added a .30-30 to its range of renowned lever-action rifles, adding significant power to what were previously only pistol-calibre firearms.

The new R95 is Rossi’s interpretation of the Model 1895, and it’s just about to lob into Australian gun shops in four models: Classic, Trapper, Stainless and Triple Black with a 5+1 magazine capacity; walnut or laminate stock options; and blued, black or stainless barrelled actions.

The R95 has compatibility with rails and handguards designed for other 1895-derived lever guns.

In .30-30, it will be an excellent rifle for pigs, goats, deer and other larger game.

The all-new R95 features a hammer-forged barrel either 16.5” or 20” long that delivers unmatched reliability and consistent accuracy.

It’s very ergonomic and has a smooth-working, hand-finished action, large loading gate and receiver that is drilled and tapped for optics.

As Rossi says, “There’s nothing better than a slick lever-action. The feeling of levering a round into the chamber, hearing the mechanical parts working together in concert, the satisfying feeling of the bolt closing — it’s kinetic and it’s aesthetic.”

The first shipment is due to land very soon and dealers are taking orders. Advertised prices range from $1000 up to $1300 depending on the model and gun shop.

To find out more ask at your local gun shop or visit the OSA Australia website.
