SSAA SHOT Expo 2024

SSAA SHOT Expo is back! Tickets on sale now

Australia’s biggest gun show, the SSAA SHOT Expo is back, to be held in Melbourne in October for the first time since Covid shut down everything in 2020 — and tickets are on sale from today.

SHOT Expo has long been the largest hunting and shooting show in the Southern Hemisphere, supported by most of the industry’s biggest players as well as dozens of smaller businesses, with all sorts of other activities and exhibits there as well.

Usually held annually, alternating between Sydney and Melbourne but with the odd excursion to other capitals, the expo typically attracted about 15,000 visitors over its two days and this year’s organiser, SSAA Victoria, is aiming for an equally large event on its return.

It’s very much a hands-on show, too, with firearms and other products on display and often able to be handled on site.

Many exhibitors will be selling their products during the event, or at least taking orders, and some offer special pricing.

The SHOT Expo is a family-friendly event, though anyone under 15 must be accompanied by the adult.

Daily tickets are $25 for adults and $18 for children aged 12-18, while younger kids enter free. Family tickets (two adults, two juniors) are available for $82.

It will be held over the weekend of 19-20 October at the Melbourne Showgrounds, and tickets are available through this link.

SSAA still has space available for exhibitors, who can get in touch using the link above.
