Benelli Lupo black, camo, walnut

Benelli releases new Lupo models in camo and walnut

Benelli has released three new Lupo models, two with camouflage stocks and matte-finished metalwork, and the other with a walnut stock and gloss metal.

The camouflage patterns are both Gore OptiFade digital designs, one in Open Country and the other called Elevated II.

The camouflage covers the stock’s butt and forend as well as the aluminium receiver between them.

These stocks carry actions that are finished in a non-reflective version of Benelli’s corrosion-resistant BE.S.T. treatment.

They have Monte Carlo-style butts, unlike the standard all-black Lupo that has been the sole model until now.

The walnut stock is also a Monte Carlo design but only the butt and forend are timber; the aluminium receiver is black.

Despite being Benelli’s first attempt at making a bolt-action rifle, the Lupo exceeded expectations when Nick Harvey reviewed it.

Not only are its ergonomics and handling exceptional, but it consistently shot sub-MOA five-shot groups, out-doing its guarantee of sub-MOA three-shot groups.

All four versions of the Lupo sell for a recommended price of $2729. Find out more on the Beretta Australia website.
