Video: Clark McGhie’s faithful old Brno — and it’s not pretty!

Want to see a real working rifle that has killed thousands of pest animals and still keeps going despite losing its bluing and having a big hole in the fore-end? This video is for you!

Clarke McGhie of Wild Country Adventures, and a professional shooter, talks about his ancient and throughly battered Brno Model 2, a rifle that still gives utterly dependable service despite its condition.

He also explains how he set up a laser pointer to complement the scope, reveals why the rifle has that hole in the fore-end and talks about some of his pest-control work.

“It’s done amazing work for me,” he says of the rifle. “Doesn’t owe me one cent.

“It hits exactly where I aim. How could you ask for better than that?

“One of these days I’ll get it refurbished!”
