PPU Ammo

A lot of Australian shooters who do a lot of shooting and aren’t made of money used to shoot Highland Ax centrefire and rimfire ammunition and it had been a bit thin on the gun shop shelves of late. Well, you big-volume feral shooters can rejoice, because that same ammo is back, rebadged as PPU.

Manufactured with the latest methods in the Privi Partizan factory in Serbia, the emphasis of improved quality and realistic pricing is back. I used some of their premium line at the time in .270 Winchester a while back hunting goats and it was the most accurate ammo along with plastic-tipped S&B 150gn loads I had ever put through my rifle.

This new PPU ammo comes in distinctive blue 20-round boxes in many different chamberings, some arcane military as well. In fact, I got straight onto NSW Rifle Association to order thousands of their .303 FMJ rounds for our service shooters. The ammo is good, the brass is very durable and is a very good proposition for reloading, so get out to your gun shop and try a box or two.
