Rigby has released a new limited-edition book, Dagga Boy Volume 1, featuring hunting stories as part of a project to promote ethical, sustainable hunting in Africa.
Rigby’s Dagga Boy is the ultimate coffee table book for anyone who has experienced the magic of a buffalo hunt, or those for those who who have a lifelong dream of bagging a buffalo.
Limited to just 1000 copies, the book features more than 70 stories interspersed with behind-the-scenes photography and details of the outfitters and Professional Hunters involved.
The biennial Dagga Boy Project is designed to gather scientific data while highlighting the importance of valuing a buffalo’s age more than its ‘inches’.
The aim is to promote ethical hunting and ensure a healthier, stronger population of all six species of African buffalo by focusing on old and broken-horned bulls who have surpassed breeding age.
