The Pulsar Forward DFA70 attached to a day scope. There are ring adjustments to enable fitment to a majority of current model scopes. It can also be used as an NV monocular.

A solid alternative to spotlighting is to use a night vision attachment such as the Pulsar Forward DFA70 imported into Australia by Extravision.

Designed to mount to the majority of daylight scopes, the attachment features a built-in laser illuminator to give you excellent undetectable vision in the dark.

It mounts to your regular scope in a few minutes with ring adaptors for 42mm, 50mm and 56mm diameters.

Importer Goran Pehar says the DFA70 is at the top end of night vision products for shooters.

“Simply there is no serious competition for this convenient and flexible DNV unit that mounts on your scope in few minutes,” he says.

Some of its features include:

  • Compatibility with a majority of daylight scopes
  • Quick mounting and adjustment
  • High resolution OLED display
  • Long range viewing
  • Convertible to hand-held NV monocular
  • Digital zoom
  • One-shot zeroing
  • Laser and LED IR illuminators included
  • Wireless control
  • Video out

You can get them from most gun shops in Australia retailing between $1750 and $1895.

This instructional video shows how to fit and zero the unit and gives a comprehensive rundown of its features.
