The hunter’s daypack is one of those things that houses essentials for every hunter and those that come down very much to personal choice. With absolutely no view to being a marketing exercise, I have laid out the contents of my own hunting daypack with the items that I carry on short or long hunts, no matter what. Other items that occasionally make it in there, like laser rangefinders, are “mission specific” and only get an occasional inclusion, as I attempt to stalk as close as possible to game when I shoot it. One notable omission here is a binocular, which mostly hangs around my neck.
