The Zeiss family of thermal optics has again taken a leap forward with yet another intuitive night-hunting product, the new DTC 3 range of clip-ons in two models, the DTC 3/25 and DTC 3/38.
Both have a large, high-contrast 1024×768 HD AMOLED display, intuitive ergonomics, precise and user-friendly zeroing and virtually unlimited battery life.
Their base magnification is 1.0x. Featuring numerous customisation options, the Zeiss DTC 3/25 clip-on device has an 18.4m field of view at 100 metres and the ability to easily recognise detail. The DTC 3/38 covers 12.3 metres at 100 metres.
Their extremely precise zeroing should ensure they are highly accurate for an ethical kill shot at night.
These join the range alongside the DTI 3/25 and 3/35 thermal imaging monocular with its high-resolution HD LCOS display that offers excellent thermal-imaging clarity at night.
The DTI captures photos and video, which can be stored on the camera or transferred to your smartphone using a Zeiss app.
