Howa 1500 Walnut Heavy Barrel centrefire rifles

The Howa 1500 rifle is the perfect platform for a quality rifle build at an affordable cost, and now the company has combined with Heavy Barrel action with its new line of good-looking walnut stocks.

Every Howa barrelled action, from the firing pin to the barrel, is perfectly designed and quality machined, with exacting tolerances. The barrels are of superior hammer forged pre-hardened steel.

Howa recently paired its sporter-weight barrelled action with a one-piece high-grade walnut stock that features fine chequering at the fore-end and pistol grip, and a Monte Carlo cheek piece, creating a rifle that not only performs exceptionally but also looks great.

Now this classic rifle is offered with heavy barrels in popular mini-action and short-action calibers.

The thick-walled barrel vibrates less during firing and also absorbs and disperses more heat. This, combined with the stiffness afforded by its greater mass, means greater accuracy potential during quick shooting.

The extra weight also soaks up more recoil, which is always a handy thing!

In addition to this, all Howa 1500 rifles feature the patented Howa HACT two-stage trigger which delivers a creep free, consistent and crisp trigger pull.

Safety is enhanced with a three-position safety mechanism, allowing for secure handling in any situation.

Manufactured with exacting headspace specifications to ensure maximum accuracy and performance, Howa 1500 rifles have a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee using quality factory ammunition.

The Howa 1500 Walnut is the perfect setup for a varminting rifle that is accurate, reliable, affordable and looks great!
