Swarovski Z5+ and Z5i+ rifle scopes

Swarovski has released a new line of riflescopes, the Z5+/Z5i+ series, featuring a newly designed turret and three versatile reticle options, all built on a 30mm main tube that provides greater adjustment for long-range shooting.

The entire Z5+ range offers a total of 80 MOA of internal elevation and windage adjustment and 40 MOA of external adjustment.

The new Z5 family is available with or without illumination and with or without a ballistic turret.

Available sizes are 2-10x42mm, 3.5-18x50mm and 5-25x56mm. I recently purchased a Z5i+ in 5-25x56mm with illuminated reticle in the second focal plane (SFP).

Of the three reticle options, I chose the PLEX-1 with illuminated centre dot. This riflescope offers outstanding image quality at high magnification and excellent light gathering capability even at dawn and dusk.

Other features include four colour-coded ballistic turret rings as opposed to three in the previous model and upgraded glass across the entire Z5+ family for even better resolution and clarity.

Another welcome feature is the new zero-stop, 30-degree locking turret system and built-in tool for adjustment.

If you are serious about your long-range shooting, Swarovski also offers custom turrets as an optional extra.

To find out more about the new Z5+ and Z5i+ range, ask at your Swarovski authorised dealer or visit www.swarovskioptik.com.
