ANZAC Rifle Range, Malabar, Sunday 3rd July, 2016, Register 9am sharp
All target-licensed shooters are invited to bring their .22 rimfire rifles to shoot an historic Miniature Service Rifle Match on traditional military targets with timed snap, rapid and deliberate-style serials. The event is hosted by the Military Rifle Clubs Association Inc. and SSAA Sydney Branch. A limited number of P650 holders can participate.
Rifle Categories
All legal .22LR rimfire rifles in good condition are permitted.
Classes of rifle
Scoped sporting .22LR rifle (e.g.  Brno Model 2 with scope) or iron-sighted .22LR rifle 
Ammunition
Any suitable .22 rimfire target or hunting ammunition may be used for these matches. 100 rounds will be more than adequate. Participants can use their own ammunition or standard velocity .22 ammunition will be available for purchase on the day.
Prizes
There will be prizes awarded to:
Best score, scoped sporting rifle
Best score .22 iron-sighted rifle
Best junior
Lucky door prize
Prizes will be made up of fixed-blade and folding knives, bricks of .22 ammunition and binoculars. In addition, the first 30 entrants on the day will be presented with an Eagleye Soft Rifle Case courtesy of Eagleye Hunting Gear.  
Match Formats
There are two matches in this shoot:
Match 1 – 3-Position Core Military Match. Requiring 50 rounds, this match is shot at 50, 35 and 25 metres on a reduced size service rifle target with a skirmish rapidfire element on separate targets on the same card.
Match 2 – The Mini Methuen. Requiring 50 rounds this is a difficult service rifle type match with a separate prize schedule for those who believe they can make the grade.
