Beretta has created a limited-edition 686 Silver Pigeon I shotgun with upgraded Grade 3 walnut, unique engraving and special serial numbers.
Worldwide, a total of only 1000 of these shotguns will be available, but Australia is receiving 200 of them, a relatively high proportion that reflects the following we have locally for the Silver Pigeon.
The engraving for the limited edition model shows game birds within elegant scrolls, and it extends to the trigger guard.
The Australian versions have serial numbers prefixed by “AUS”.
Functionally, the Beretta is a typical Silver Pigeon I over-under shotgun evolved to its present state since the 680 platform was introduced about 70 years ago.
A 20th Anniversary Silver Pigeon is also still available.
The limited-edition model sells for a recommended $4199. Find out more at your local gun shop or on the Beretta Australia website.
