Following up on last week’s video, Chris “The Huntsman” Waters heads out to cull fallow deer and knocks over some foxes in the process, and tries some interesting thermal-vision shooting aids including a remote-controlled spotter.
But it’s not all shooting at night, with some good strategising and stalking — plus some of his usual humour — as he tries to drop deer in the daylight hours.
It’s a great story about the thrill of responsible hunting and the importance of wildlife management on private farmland.
He heads out with Michael of Eagleye Hunting Gear, who’s quite the inventor and designed the remote controlled thermal spotter himself.
And as usual, there’s a bonus episode covering an agonisingly slow stalk that ends well.
