It appears that Canada’s provinces want to maintain their own firearms registries despite their Federal Government’s direct orders, via the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, to not do so. Despite their mandate to eliminate their wasteful and proved-to-be ineffectual Longarm Registry and legislation passed to enable that outcome, it appears they have a fight on their hands with their own provinces to maintain and grow a bureaucracy for the sake of bureaucracy.
