If you want to convince your non-hunting friends or acquaintances about the validity of hunting as an all-consuming passion, you could not do better than get them to listen to this recent interview from the ABC’s Off Track radio program.
Here is the ABC’s intro to the interview
Louis Brown is a hunter.
In 2004, Louis went hunting by himself for the first time. Now he spends weeks at a time alone in the wilderness tracking down prey.
Whenever he kills an animal, he makes sure he uses all of it – even if that means hiking out with the butchered carcass on his back.
Louis talks to Off Track about what’s involved hunting large animals, his attitudes regarding sustainable hunting, and how he came to do this for a living.
