The local paper for the south-eastern suburbs surrounding ANZAC Rifle Range, Malabar, is the Southern Courier. In this recent online edition, they invited comments from readers about the article and they got more than they bargained for.
When it closed last week by far the majority of reader comments were supportive of shooters staying at Malabar, with many comments directed at the subject function celebrating the handover of land packets for a State-run National Park being nothing more than a Labor Party PR grab.
With a little bit of luck, we won’t have to put up with these cynical land leaches after the next Federal election.
