The legal requirements for travelling with firearms are a subject of great debate and concern amongst shooters. Many shooters – and many Police officers – aren’t exactly clear on what the laws are. That’s partly because they are different in each state. Thankfully the good folk at the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia have recently published this state-by-state guide to travelling with firearms. ¬†Have a good read to make sure you’re complying with the law and don’t find yourself in hot water.
