A collaborative approach to managing wild deer populations has proven a success a Wilsons Promontory.
Back in September we brought you a report about the successful hog deer cull at Wilsons Promontory. A total of 42 deer were harvested from the Wilsons Promontory National Park by accredited shooters from the ADA and SSAA, illusrating the effectiveness of using recreational hunters to assist in the management of wild deer where they are a problem.
This week we have two videos that provide more information about how this collaboration between hunters and government panned out.
