When they’re not making the best hunting mag on the market, Marcus and the team from Sporting Shooter are trawling through cyberspace to bring you their favourite vids from the wonderful world of hunting and shooting. This week we have everything from the informative to the downright bizarre so grab a coffee or a beer and take a look.
We start of this week with a really interesting time lapse vid from well know hunter Michael Gibson. Want to see how to cape a deer? This vid shows you the whole process in 1 minute and 44 seconds.
Sticking with the time lapse theme, for all you wanna-be knife makers out there we have this vid that shows you the entire knife making process in high speed. Around six and a half minutes and you’re done – I wish it was that easy in real life.
Next we have an interview with well-known US hunting journo Craig Boddington in which he gives a balanced perspective on the fire storm surrounding Texan teen hunter Kendall Jones. Good to see the Fox network getting the facts. It’s a pity the ABC doesn’t want to do the same.

This next clip has nothing to do with hunting except that we all drive long distances on country roads and we all have mobile phones. Check it out for a reality check.

Finally, we go back to the well for a look at another Kirsten Joy Weiss trick shot: this time it’s pilates with a firearm. Don’t ask me why, I just don’t know.
