Video: Rolling with Joel on a wheelchair hunt

Joel’s mission is to hunt a buck and he faces all kinds of obstacles, often made harder to conquer by the fact he’s in a wheelchair. 

The video is nicely made with good quality footage, some taken with a regular camera, some with the aid of a SkopeCam, and there’s great commentary, too. 

It takes you through the gear Joel uses, including the .223 Lithgow rifle, and then the hunts as they pursue fallow or maybe even a red.

There are some close encounters. Croaking bucks. There are pigs and goats as well. 

And, unfortunately, a good example of buck fever when Joel’s first shot misses the mark.

Joel and his assistant, Josh, persist until last light one evening when it all comes together.

Well, the hunt come together but Joel’s wheelchair comes apart and a few other things go wrong, too.

But ultimately Joel makes a perfect shot and gets his buck.
