Small game, small rifle and small hunter, but big results. Phoenix Collis wrote this brief yarn about his first hunt:
“My Dad Andrew and his mate Paul took me on a hunt out bush and outfitted me with an awesome camouflage-patterned .22 rimfire.
“My dad has really instilled firearm safety into me and made sure I had plenty of target practice in all sorts of shooting positions, so I felt pretty confident on my first hunt.
“When it came time to actually shoot a hare and some small suckers, I was a little nervous, but my Dad’s training sessions paid off.
“Here is one of a few suckers I took on the trip.
“Thank you, Dad.”
