The first 2015 issue of Australia’s favourite hunting magazine is already on the news-stands. The January edition, like usual, is jam packed full of info to make you a better hunger and shooter. We start with our lead hunting stor, in which Jeff Borg takes us along on his latest tahr hunting adventure across The Ditch and the spectacular photography makes us feel like we are right there with him. Then Gus Plank writes about his latest pig and fallow trip, and turns up great specimens of both. Alex Juris whacks another great billy with the stick and string, while Darren Marks explains to us how to be a better, safer spotlighter.
There is a great ‘how to’ article on using trail cameras to capture great images of all sorts of wild animals, while in our rifle review section we take a look at the Kimber 84L Classic Select rifle in .280 Ackley Improved and the Ruger 77M Magnum Hunter in the versatile .300 Win Mag. In other product testing news we run the Hornady Auto Charge 56 Lock and Load powder dispenser through its paces.
