I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Ron Coburn at a NIOA function a few years back. I’ve also had the pleasure of owning Savage rifles as well. Currently I have a little bull-barreled .22 Magnum in my safe that is a delight to shoot; it seems I can’t miss a fox with it. My almost criminally-accurate old Savage 112BT .308 target rifle went to a paraplegic F-class shooter some years ago and he had no complaints.
Anyhow, back to the story at hand. It seems that Team Savage invited their sponsor out to try long range shooting for the first time and he did quite well at it, despite them setting him up on a wobbly chair and doubly wobbly benchrest.
