Following on from last week’s shooting accidents comes more distressing news, reported in the Sydney Morning Herald. This time a pig hunter has been shot in the back by a member of his own party as he sat in his vehicle on a property in NSW. Please, everybody, let’s be careful out there!

In Victoria, anti-hunting protestors have repeatedly slashed the tyres of duck hunters near Geelong. According to the 3AW website, there have been six incidents this season. It’s high time the authorities got serious about cracking down on this dangerous, illegal and expensive vandalism.

We’ve all heard about the Texan who paid $350,000 to hunt a rhino in Namibia, and the storm of controversy that followed.
