It is nice to have a win under your belt. I see a fair bit of complaining by rank and file members and non member shooters about the SSAA and what it is doing for its members and shooters generally.
This mostly comes from people who don’t put in a lot of work in the cause of bettering their fellow shooters’ lot. When organisations like the SSAA deal with government, the pure inertia of government slows response and action down to a glacial pace.
In this instance (and many others), the NSW Branch SSAA is to be congratulated and thanked for putting in solid work over years, not months, to get such an outcome.
