Vortex makes its Pro torque wrench twice as useful

Loose scope rings will allow a riflescope to move. If they are too tight, they can damage the scope. Hence, accuracy can be compromised if you under- or over-tighten screws.

The same can be said about replacing your rifle’s action screws. Too much tension on screws can also strip the thread. To apply the correct tension to screws and help ensure precision, use a torque wrench.

The Pro torque wrench by Vortex offers settings from 10-90in-lb (1.1-10.2Nm), which is an improvement on the older model that only went to 50in-lb (5.1Nm).

This makes the new one suitable the lighter tension needed for scope mounting as well as the higher torque required when reassembling your rifle.

This unit also comes complete with a selection of bits to suit: eight hex bits, three Torx bits, a 10mm wide screwdriver bit, a  ½” socket and a ¼” hex to ¼” square socket adapter. The whole box and dice is packaged in a handy tube for storage.

To prove the quality of these units, Vortex gives each one a serial number and provides a certificate of calibration with every unit. The wrenches are all individually tested under standard ISO-6789.

Like all Vortex products, the Vortex Pro torque wrench is covered by the VIP Unlimited Lifetime Warranty.

Ask to see them at your local gun shop or visit Extravision for more information or your nearest stockist.
