An early start and a lot of climbing took Alex into a good vantage point below what he called Billy Bluff. The goats were rutting, chasing the nannies and fighting each other, their odd calls echoing off the crags and cliffs.
There were plenty of decent billies but the real prize forced Alex into a waiting game, not a bad thing with all the action going on. From his spot below the goats, he spent the time taking photos and video, getting great footage of goats behaving badly!
Eventually the trophy animal appeared, a big enough billy to change the dynamic of the herd. It wasn’t long till the shot was on…
