Product Safety Recall – Lightforce LiFePO4 Battery Charger Power Cords with Missing Earth Pins

Product Safety RecallSome Lightforce 170mm Handheld Lights with LiFePO4 batteries and some Lightforce LiFePO4 Battery Chargers supplied between January 2014 and May 2018 may include power cords that do not have an earth pin.
The missing pin does not pose a risk for users of the battery charger but could result in an electrical shock causing serious injury or death if the power cord is used with another 240V appliance that requires an earth pin.
Consumers or stockists who purchased the following products should stop using the affected power cord immediately and contact Lightforce Customer Service on 1800 03 03 08 to arrange a return and replacement.
Up to 1,042 individual units of the following products may be affected:
LIGHTFORCE 170MM LIGHTS WITH LIFEPO4 BAG PACKS
(WALK170HIDLIFE, WALK170LIFE, WALK170LIFEVP)
LIGHTFORCE BATTERY KITS & CHARGERS
(BP7LIFE, BCLP7-2, CBLP6, CBLP9C, CBLPBC), and
POWER CORDS (LPLEADAU).
