Live demos for SSAA SHOT Expo

Australia’s largest shooting show, the SSAA SHOT Expo, is just over three weeks away and, as expected, it’s shaping up to be the biggest ever.

There will be over 90 exhibitors, occupying at least 220 booths, from the shooting, hunting and outdoors industries as well as other related businesses.

SSAA NSW says it has sold the majority of stands for the expanded event, and it has also announced of special attractions to encourage hunters and shooters to attend the Homebush show.

Chief among the new features are the live butchering and caping demonstrations, with a limited number of tickets available on site from the SSAA Hunting and Conservation stand.

The demos have been put together with the help of the NSW Game Council, one of the expo’s sponsors.

The proven Try Shooting and Try Archery ranges will also be operating during the expo. People will also be able to sit their safe handling test as a prelude to getting a shooting licence.

Some exhibitor space is still available, and any businesses interested should email kim@nsw.ssaa.org.au.

The SHOT Expo is being held on the weekend of 16-17 June at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush and entry costs $20 for SSAA members, $25 for non-members, $15 for children, and it’s free for anyone under 12 accompanied by an adult.

For more information, check out the expo website, which includes a floorplan and exhibitor list.
